In March 2019, our team was appointed to supply and commission digital signage media players embedded with a comprehensive content management system. These devices were installed across multiple areas within Southern Lion’s factory, which is located in the Larkin Industrial Estate, Johor Bahru.
The primary objective of this project was to improve internal communication by replacing traditional notice boards with a more engaging and dynamic communication method. The digital signage system enabled the company to share real-time updates, such as health and safety messages, production performance, visitor notices, and daily announcements with both employees and guests.

Each unit was carefully configured to connect to the central content management platform, which allowed the team at Southern Lion to remotely control, schedule, and publish messages across the factory. Whether it was a safety reminder, event update, or motivational quote, all content was synchronized across screens and could be updated instantly.
This streamlined approach helped eliminate manual posting, reduced printing costs, and delivered a consistent messaging experience across departments.
