Interactive Smartboard Installation at SRK Seri Indera
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Seri Indera (SRK Seri Indera) for choosing us as their trusted technology partner in enhancing digital education. We had the privilege of supplying and commissioning an interactive smartboard for the school, helping them move forward in their digital teaching journey.
SRK Seri Indera is a national primary school situated on Jalan Sekolah Derma. With a student population of 816 and 56 dedicated teachers, the school has a strong commitment to improving the quality of education through modern teaching tools. This initiative was led by the school principal, Teacher Nor Sharmila Binti Shaari, who reached out to us through Facebook and followed up with a direct call to learn more about our smartboard solutions.
Choosing the Right Interactive Smartboard for Education
The school was fortunate to receive a generous donation, and the principal made the strategic decision to invest in a high-quality interactive smartboard. Their goal was to implement teaching and learning using digital applications, ensuring that lessons could be conducted in a more engaging, effective, and interactive manner.
After understanding their needs, we recommended the Arvia Smartboard—a 65-inch unit that came fully equipped with powerful specifications and features tailored for classroom environments. It included Windows 11 Operating System, Intel i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD storage, ensuring smooth performance and compatibility with a wide range of educational software.
Digital Transformation in the Classroom
This interactive smartboard is more than just a display. It has 4K resolution, supports up to 20 multi-touch points, and comes with MyViewBoard software, making it perfect for digital whiteboarding, annotations, multimedia presentations, and seamless integration with online learning tools.
In addition, this smartboard enables video conferencing and online meetings, allowing teachers and students to stay connected, especially useful during times when remote learning may be necessary. The hardware and software work together to provide a modern, all-in-one solution that elevates both teaching and learning experiences.
A Milestone in EdTech: SRK Seri Indera’s Vision
Principal Nor Sharmila’s vision is to embrace digital education and to encourage the younger generation to be more engaged and tech-savvy. This initiative represents a significant step in their journey toward becoming a future-ready school.
The success of this project has sparked interest in expanding the use of smartboards across other classrooms. There are already plans in motion to purchase another interactive smartboard based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both teachers and students. The school has seen a noticeable improvement in classroom participation and lesson effectiveness, thanks to this new teaching technology.
Project Delivery and Commissioning
The installation and commissioning of the Arvia Smartboard was successfully completed in October 2022. Our team ensured that the setup was done efficiently and professionally. We also provided basic training for the teachers, so they could make the most out of the smartboard’s features right away.
By working closely with the school, we ensured that their expectations were fully met—from technical specifications to functionality and user experience. The result is a smooth transition to digital teaching tools, paving the way for more schools to follow suit.
