Arvia Solutions is proud to collaborate with TNB Research Sdn Bhd, Kajang, in delivering a complete interactive smartboard solution that supports their research, development, and operational needs. As part of this digital transformation initiative, two (2) units of ARVIA Interactive Smartboard ARV200 (65-inch) were deployed, each paired with a powerful OPS i5 PC (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) to deliver smooth performance for digital annotation, content sharing, and collaborative engagement. The units were mounted on ARV-S57 mobile stands, offering flexibility to be moved between labs, offices, and shared meeting spaces.

Designed with high-resolution multi-touch capabilities and a built-in Android system, each interactive smartboard allows seamless switching between applications, drawing tools, browsers, and media. TNB’s researchers now have the freedom to present ideas, annotate complex data, and hold interactive sessions without relying on multiple devices. The smartboards’ mobility also makes them ideal for fast-paced, modular work environments.

Enhanced Collaboration Tools with AI & Digital Signage

To complement the smartboard solution, the deployment included one (1) unit of ARV TSP-32 Interactive Touch Signage Panel and one (1) unit of ARV4800 AI camera. The touch signage panel serves as a modern communication board—broadcasting internal announcements, safety updates, and departmental visuals in an engaging format. Positioned in a high-traffic area, it ensures messages are delivered effectively to staff.

The AI-powered camera was introduced to improve hybrid collaboration. Its smart auto-tracking functionality captures speaker movements, adjusts framing in real time, and delivers a professional-quality feed for video conferencing. These features are crucial in supporting virtual research discussions and cross-location training sessions.

Seamless Interactive Smartboard Installation for Research Facilities

Arvia’s technical team managed the entire installation process with precision and professionalism. Each interactive smartboard was unboxed, securely mounted, configured, and connected to TNB Research’s secured Wi-Fi network. System firmware was updated to ensure long-term stability, security, and compatibility with third-party applications and tools.

The ARV4800 AI camera was calibrated to provide responsive speaker tracking, ideal for online meetings or remote workshops. The ARV TSP-32 was configured to cycle through content dynamically, ensuring information is delivered visually and effectively. Every component was tested for full functionality before handover.

Interactive Smartboard Training for Technical Teams

Following the installation, a practical on-site training session was provided for researchers, engineers, and IT personnel. Participants were introduced to the Android and Windows interfaces of the smartboard, taught how to use the Arvia Board software for digital whiteboarding, and guided through AirServer screen mirroring to connect personal devices wirelessly.

Users practiced real-world tasks such as importing PDFs, embedding videos, writing notes, and saving sessions. The training emphasized hands-on use to ensure that every team member could confidently operate the interactive smartboard for technical presentations, documentation, and live collaboration.
