Why the Ministry of Health Chose an Interactive Smartboard
The healthcare industry is rapidly advancing, with increasing demands for real-time communication, data sharing, and virtual collaboration. Traditional tools like projectors and whiteboards are no longer sufficient to meet the evolving needs of complex healthcare operations.
MOH, as the primary authority for Malaysia’s public healthcare system, oversees critical areas such as hospital administration, medical research, disease control, patient safety, and national health policies. Project Scope: Smartboard and Video Conferencing Setup
As part of this project, our team delivered and installed the Arvia ARV100-65 Interactive Smartboard, which comes with a 65-inch Ultra HD touch display and powerful integrated hardware. Powered by an Intel i5 processor, with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage, the smartboard supports both Android and Windows operating systems, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of healthcare applications and communication tools.
One of the most notable features of this interactive smartboard is its multi-drawing capability, which allows up to 20 simultaneous touchpoints. This makes it perfect for collaborative meetings, staff training, strategic planning, and real-time editing during medical briefings. With this level of interactivity, MOH teams can work more effectively, even across different departments or geographical locations.
To support hybrid and remote operations, we also supplied a complete video conferencing system and a portable TV stand, enabling mobility and flexible usage across various meeting spaces within the ministry. This ensures that high-quality, face-to-face communication can take place at any time, regardless of location—perfect for telemedicine planning, virtual seminars, and coordination with external agencies.
