Interactive Smartboard Installation for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM)

The Importance of Upgrading to Interactive Smartboard Technology
As an elite branch of the Malaysian Armed Forces, TUDM is responsible for safeguarding the country’s airspace and providing crucial aerial support to ground and naval forces. Since its inception in 1958, the Royal Malaysian Air Force has evolved into a modern and capable force, constantly adapting to technological advancements. In line with this progressive outlook, TUDM identified the need to improve their internal communication tools, training systems, and presentation methods.
Traditional whiteboards and projection systems were no longer adequate for their dynamic requirements. They needed an advanced, all-in-one solution that could deliver real-time interactivity, multimedia integration, and ease of use across various operational settings. That’s when our team proposed the Arvia Interactive Smartboard, a solution designed specifically to meet such demands.
Project Scope: Supplying the Arvia Interactive Smartboard 86 Inch
To address TUDM’s specific needs, we supplied and installed the Arvia Interactive Smartboard 86 inch, a PC-less large LCD panel with integrated smartboard software. This model allows for seamless presentations, annotations, and collaboration—all without needing a separate computer. With high-resolution visuals and a multi-touch interface, it supports up to 20 touch points, enabling multiple users to write and interact simultaneously.
Additionally, the package included the robust AF100-BLK mobile stand, offering mobility and flexibility in repositioning the smartboard across different rooms and departments. The smartboard is compatible with both Android and Windows platforms, enabling easy access to a wide range of applications and file formats.
