Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), officially known as the Department of Broadcasting Malaysia, stands as Malaysia’s national public broadcaster and one of the most established and respected media institutions in the country. RTM began its operations on 1 April 1946 under the name Radio Malaya, making it the first and oldest broadcaster in Malaysia. With the formation of Malaysia on 16 September 1963, Radio Malaya was rebranded as Radio Malaysia to signify its broader national scope. About Our Solution
To support RTM’s digital transformation and its commitment to modernizing communication channels, our company was appointed to supply and commission Floor Stand Kiosks. This project enhances RTM’s internal and public-facing communication through dynamic, real-time digital displays deployed at strategic locations.
The models delivered under this project include the FLR101-49 and FLR101-43, featuring 49-inch and 43-inch high-definition screens, respectively. These Floor Stand Kiosks are designed with a modern and professional appearance, built using durable materials that support 24/7 operations. Their versatile design makes them ideal for placement in lobbies, corridors, waiting areas, or public halls, serving as reliable communication tools for both staff and visitors.
Each unit is powered by Arvia’s CDMS (Content Delivery Management System) – an advanced, cloud-based digital signage software that empowers RTM to manage and distribute content with ease. CDMS allows for real-time content updates, centralized scheduling, remote device monitoring, and analytics reporting, all from a user-friendly dashboard. This gives RTM complete control over the messaging and content displayed across the kiosks.
The Floor Stand Kiosks support multiple media formats, including videos, images, scrolling text, live web pages, and interactive elements. This flexibility enables RTM to broadcast various types of content such as news headlines, program schedules, government campaigns, educational messages, public service announcements, and promotional materials, keeping both staff and visitors informed and engaged.
Our team also delivered end-to-end services, from product delivery and installation to configuration, testing, and technical commissioning. To ensure smooth operation after deployment, we provided comprehensive training to RTM’s internal teams. This ensures their personnel are fully equipped to operate the kiosks independently and maintain the CDMS platform confidently.

These sleek, modern kiosks are designed for high visibility and robust 24/7 operation, making them ideal for public service announcements, program highlights, news updates, and interactive content within RTM premises.
Each unit is powered by Israk’s proprietary Signage Software – CDMS (Content Delivery Management System), which enables centralized content scheduling, real-time updates, remote management, and system health monitoring. This ensures RTM can efficiently manage and distribute content across all installed kiosks, whether for internal broadcasting purposes or public engagement.
